Uderstanding MARC Authority
S. Aneva gave a lecture on Understanding MARC Authority Records то representatives of both founding and associated libraries. A Working Group was also established to discuss the peculiarities when applying MARC Authority.
The bib records of the Medical University in Plovdiv (11,732 in total) and of the Russe University (39,903) have been integrated into the NALIS Union Catalogue.
The International University College became a NALIS associate member.
The Medical University of Plovdiv became a NALIS associate member.
10,732 bibliographic records from the library of the Varna Medical University were integrated into the NALIS Union Catalogue.
The NALIS Union Catalogue was enriched with 7,070 bibliographic records from the library of Saint Trivelius Christian Institute in Sofia.
The National Library of Albania became the third foreign collaborator of NALIS after signing the Agreement for the Construction of an Academic Online Catalogue.
ROSETTA BASICS
Rosetta Basics, a two-day course took place at the NALIS office on the 4th and 5th of June. It was intended for NALIS founders and associates and led by Ex Libris experts.
The retroconverted records in May were 21,251: 12,526 were submitted by SUL and 8,725 by CL-BAS.
Тhe Medical University – Varna became a NALIS associate member and the bib records form its library e-catalogue are going to be integrated in the NALIS Union Catalogue.

Writers through the Photographers’ Lens, an exibition of images from the National Museum of Literature, was opened in the Sofia underground. The initiative is within the frames of the EuropeanaPhotography project. For more information see the Events page.
