On September 17, 2016, at the NALIS Foundation office, Rumen Avramov (Chairman of the Board of Directors of NABISF) presented a plaque to Mr. Carl Fortzheimer (Chairman of the Board of Directors of America for Bulgaria Foundation) in gratitude for his long-standing and active support of the activities of NABISF and on the occasion of his eightieth anniversary.
The plaque especially prepared for the occasion is a work of the artist Milko Dobrev:
Silvia Naydenova (Director of the Central Library of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences), Anna Angelova (Director of the University Library "St. Kliment Ohridski") and Sofia Katsarska (Director of the "Panitsa" Library at the American University in Bulgaria) presented gratitude on behalf of the founding institutions - BAS Central Library, Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", American University in Bulgaria.
