DONATION OF THE ATHONITE COLLECTION OF DINCHO KRASTEV TO THE SOFIA UNIVERSITY’S PHILOLOGIES LIBRARY

Krassimira Baychinska, wife of Dincho Krastev, made and official donation of his Athonite book collection to the Sofia University’s Philologies Library оn 19 May. Тhis took part during the introduction of the seven new donations to the Zographou Electronic Research Library, which now comprises not only of digitised copies of manuscripts form the Zograph Monastery, but also from the Vatican Apostolic Library, the Library of Reims (France), the Centre for Slavo-Byzantine Studies “Prof. Ivan Dujčev”, the Ivan Vazov Public Library in Plovdiv, the Regional Historical Museum "Academician Yordan Ivanov" and the Sofia University Theological Library. The Athonite Collection of D. Krastev includes 80 books and is available in the Philologies Library. The idea and will of the donor is for it to become a growing collection of publications about the Mount Athos.
