Nikolina Ivanova-Bell

N. Ivanova-Bell joined the AUBG team in 2005 after working for several years at the City Library in Worcester, United Kingdom. Her current duties include the overall organization, management and strategic development of the library collections and activities, and close cooperation with local university constituencies and international organizations. N. Ivanova-Bell holds a Master's degree in Library and Information Sciences and Cultural Policy from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski ", as well as Master's degree in Bulgarian Philology, specialty Foreign Literatures from the SWU" Neofit Rilski ". In 2011, she went through an intensive training program at the Mortenson Center for International Library Programs, USA on the subject of "Librarians of the Future: Communication and Leadership".

N. Ivanova-Bell has been chairing the Coordinating Committee of the AMICAL Consortium, with two consecutive mandates, since the autumn of 2015. In 2015 she received a nomination for a Librarian of the year at the annual awards ceremony of the Bulgarian Library and Information Association. In 2017 she completed the Harvard's Graduate School of Education's specialized training program for academic librarians.
