Nicola Stoyanov

NALIS System Administrator

Nicola Stoyanov is an expert in informatics and deals with information systems and databases. He worked as a System Administrator at the Central Library of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (1999–2007) and Quality Assurance at SAP Labs Bulgaria (2007–2009). At both CL-BAS and NALIS he has been responsible for data integration in Europeana through a number of related EU Projects, namely ATHENA, LinkedHeritage, AthenaPlus, which also required coordination and mapping of standards. Mr. Stoyanov’s main responsibilities at NALIS are:

• to maintain and constantly enlarge the NALIS Union Catalogue based on the discovery and delivery system ViFind;
• to maintain the integrated library system for the management of print collections Koha.
